The best
information that I can give you are the downloads that
I have made links to on the download site.
When you install these files use the advanced settings. Adaware 2007 does
not really have anything that needs to be changed in the loading of the program. It does come with another spyware
program that is not that user friendly and you can just delete it from starting
in your system on your desktop if you decide that you do not want to use it. You are not forced to by this program. When it ask for the
serial number just hit cancel and it will install the Free version. This free version is fine to use but you can
not use some features. You mainly need
to run this program when you want it to run by clicking the icon on your
desktop. Be sure to put all settings at
the highest possible setting that you can.
This goes for any Antivirus program or Anti-Spy program that you
use. Sometimes you will need to do this
in the Advanced settings. Run this program daily when you are not
using your computer.
Spybot search and
destroy has some options that you might want to consider. Tea Timer comes with Spybot
Search and Destroy and it is a great tool.
If you do not know anything about firewalls then you should not install
this program because it is a lot like a firewall. It will not allow some things to run on your
computer that will harm your computer, but it can also stop some things that
you want to use. Be sure to put all settings at the highest possible setting
that you can. This goes for any
Antivirus program or Anti-Spy program that you use. With Spybot Search
and Destroy you will need to do this in the Advanced
settings. Run this program
daily when you are not using your computer.
Never assume that a program will update
itself or run itself. Always run the
program and do all updates yourself.
Some Viruses and Spyware can block a program
from running or updating. Run the
programs that will run and then go back and try the program that did not run
the first time that you tried to run it.
Sometimes another program with repair another program.
I do not suggest anyone to use the restore
method for any program that they use. If
you have a problem with your computer and you use the restore, the problem is
still in your computer until it is properly removed. You might not notice the problem after you
restore the computer, but it is still there.
A fresh re-load of your operating system is required after some viruses
or spyware infects the computer. Sometimes you can get away with turning off
the restore section in your computer and removing the problem. If you have any problems removing a problem
